Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: Responsible for handling the initial user contact at the Help Desk via telephone, email, chat or website. Perform troubleshooting to help resolve issues and escalate to the appropriate teams if reuired. Research and resolve more complex commercial & scientific applications and business process issues. Analyse and identify trends in issue reporting and devising preventive solutions for continuous improvement purposes. Log and manage incidents and requests from users. Use trending data to generate and update knowledge database in system. Communicate effectively using Mandarin and English toward every user base and audience Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Information Technology Role is ideal for 0-2 years of prior related work experience in a technical support environment, and/or a help desk environment. Demonstrated technical competence in areas of responsibilities with applied knowledge of a range of current technologies Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and analyse computing issues General understanding of Help Desk Operations Ability to explain technical information to users, management and peers with effective verbal and written communication both in English and Mandarin.
