Job Summary The purpose of the role is to operationally lead the delivery of API integrations across Digital Consumer. The objective is to encourage a developer self-service model to APIs, to enable Developers to access a library of APIs and re-use them in their digital products. In parallel, the role will ensure the API squad delivers new and enhanced integration capability, including APIs and Authentication capability thorough the team’s own development capacity. This role will work with the Product Owner to deliver against agreed prioritised strategic and Tribe and EPMO project-based requirements. Key Responsibilities Guide on the effective use and re-use of APIs across all Digital to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements and the overall Integration Architecture Build a developer self-service model providing technical and functional expertise across enterprise in enabling APIs and technical solutions. Work closely with program, business, vendors and technical stakeholders to effectively lead and deliver API integration activities across multiple programs of work. Provide input into defining end to end API and integration strategy and deliver to agreed roadmap and program of work. Lead the delivery of the API squad prioritised backlog Evangelist for our API led integration strategy, promote our approach and challenge alternate approaches. Champion the strategic pathway for re-use and effort reduction in integration. Ability to influence and support a diverse set of stakeholder groups to effectively manage their requirements, in line with other competing stakeholder requirements. Understanding of end-to-end view of customer experience in digital to inform decision making for consuming teams and squads Experience and Qualifications Masters or bachelor’s degree qualified in IT, Computer Systems, software or computer engineering fields or equivalent. Overall 10 years’ experience within solution design and Delivery 5 years’ experience in leading a team of diverse members including vendor partners and internal. Proven experience in delivering complex solutions in a large data ecosystem with multiple projects. Minimum 5 years in Data management platform solution design, both on-prem and cloud deployments Expertise in understanding data lifecycle in a complex environment. Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with a passion for championing change Working experience in Agile, scrum is advantage. DM tools like Informatica AXON, EDC, Secure@Source) or any other equivalent is highly regarded Data Governance, DMaaS (Data Management as a Service) experience in native Cloud Data Management technologies (Azure Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, GCP DM Catalogue, etc..) Tableau, Power BI, Cognos BI or equivalent Analytics/Reporting tools. Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, agile planning and tactical delivery. A strong communicator who can distil complex technology concepts into digestible, action-oriented narratives and recommendations for a non-technical audience. Good to have Data Management and Governance certifications is preferable Experience working in Telco is nice to have Working on both cloud and on-premises data management solutions Experience with Data Lake, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Data Modelling using tools like Erwin Hands on experience in Collibra, Alation, etc. Any certification on Data Management tools like Informatica, Collibra, etc.
