Job Description
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing project engineering activities; feasibility studies, instructions, specifications, preparation of construction reports, contracts and schedules
Reviewing and authorizing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis
Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure program, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved and taking prompt corrective action where required
Identifying, in conjunction with the Foreman, incomplete and defective work
Effectively managing testing and commissioning and the handover process to the client
Required Skills and Competencies
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Experience in a project or site engineering role, undertaking complex and high-volume business projects
Extensive knowledge of construction industry; and
Extensive knowledge of engineering project management principles with a thorough understanding of engineering and site management principles.
