About the Role
Due to the rapid growth of the company, we are looking for a passionate, highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join the company. This position will work closely with the production team members and the sales front, to identify, develop and to ultimately achieve business growth.
Key responsibilities of this role:
Performing advanced manufacturing & production related tasks to manufacture of tank liners, maker buoys, water, and fuel bladders as per customer requirements.
Produce clear and detailed technical drawings to manufacture high quality flexible products catering to customers across a range of industrial applications.
Operate various machinery used in the production process and perform precise maintenance tasks to meet the industry and safety standards.
Perform quality assurance tests on the manufactured products to meet the Australian and ISO standards.
Provide effective engineering solutions to customers to cater their need and perform tasks related to the installations of our products their sites.
Coordinate labour and manpower involved in the manufacturing and production process.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2-year previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
Show a high degree of attention to detail
Has strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Be solution focussed with the ability to prioritise demands and meet deadlines
Knowledge in engineering drawing software’s is highly beneficial, particular preference to Solid-works.
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment to deliver quality products.
Positive, have a resilient attitude and the willingness to work autonomously and as part of a team
A willingness to learn from and teach others working within a team.
