Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 5-8 years

We require an experienced mechanical engineer, or similar relevant qualification, with eight years of demonstrable experience in the meat processing or related industry, to play a lead role in developing detailed process equipment layouts. Must have: Design capabilities and problem solving skills A proven track record as a project engineer with relevant industry experience. Attention to detail and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and project managers. Strong project administration skills. Successful involvement in the development, or the incremental improvement, of processing equipment in abattoirs or similar facilities. A folio of performance specification documents that they have developed. A folio of equipment lists and service loads, and equipment budgets that they have developed. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project with a working familiarity with AutoCAD and REVIT. Prepared to travel throughout Australia and occasionally overseas as projects require, to develop scope with clients and install and commission equipment. Highly Valued Facility design Food Industry and cold storage facility experience. An understanding of hygienic design. Strong AutoCAD and REVIT skills. Sound knowledge of National Construction Code and Australian Standards. Site experience. Specification writing Budgeting. Experience in planning approval. Knowledge of industrial buildings.
