They are currently seeking an accouting intern in bookeeping and trust accounting to join their Property Management Team managing commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities include but not limit to:
RP Office- Daily/Weekly
Receipting
Reconciliation of Rental and Sales Trust Accounts
Entering creditor invoices such council/water etc. and scanning invoices
Processing Landlord Payments/ Statements
Creditor Payments
Manage BPay EFY and cheque payments
Receipting of Sales Deposits and Incoming Accounts
Manage bonds at Macquarie bank, including submitting and retrieving
Disbursing bond refunds to tenants
RP Office- Monthly
Issuing Tenant Tax Invoices
EOM reconciliations for Rental and Sales Trust Accounts, including rollover in RP Office and producing EOM reporting as required by legislation
RP Office- Annually
Preparing EOFY statements for Landlords
Preparing annual budgeted outgoings for retail tenants
Arrange and support annual Trust Account audit
RP Office- as required/ ad-hoc
Credit card transactions
Follow-up On unpresented cheques
Reconciliations with rent/payment disputes
Answer queries from Landlords & Tenants
Management of RP Office Databa
Liaising with RP Office when required and for any issues
Other
Running the Accounts Department efficiently
General client assistance and team support with any financial issues
Problem-solving with accounts issues
Cross-training accounts staff
Build processes and procedures within the accounts department for Property Manager/ Sales & Leasing
485 Visa Holder, PR or Citizen will be preferred.
