The Role Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this important role is required to support the increased demand for products being received and dispatched through our Melbourne warehouse. Responsibilities Picking and packing of products and preparing these for despatch. Loading and unloading of containers. Quality control and checking goods received. Operating all mechanical equipment including Forklifts in a safe manner. Use of hand tools as required. Heavy lifting of products. Packaging and labeling of stock. Participate in stocktakes and weekly cycle counts. Prepare delivery run sheets and complete consignment notes. General housekeeping duties as required. Deliveries to customers as and when required. The Person Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised and possess great time management skills. Be motivated and with strong attention to detail. Experience checking delivery sheets and goods inward, including uploading containers. Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks. A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures. A willingness to learn and a positive "can do" attitude. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Current Forklift and drivers licence is preferred but not essential Computer skills or the ability to learn. Must be a team player.
