Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Required residence status: Permanent resident, Citizen

Accept remote work: Accept during COVID-19 restrictions only

Key duties and responsibilities: Financial Accounting Prepare financial and management reports on regular basis Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, including investigating variances Process monthly journals Process staff expenses Prepare of Intercompany recharges invoice Assist in updating Finance procedures and internal controls Assist in ad-hoc projects Provide support across the finance function as required Accounting on Retail Operation Daily sales and payment reconciliations Managing gift card and store credit reconciliation Provide finance support with new store/pop-up openings Participate in spot stock-take, stock-take and retail audit process Point of contact for finance queries from retail team Point of contact for bank on merchant-related activity Assist in updating retail procedures and internal controls Ensure procedures and internal controls are properly followed by retail team Reinforce the company policy and guidelines through education to retail team Identify opportunity for process improvement What our ideal candidate looks like: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an accounts-related role Experience in general ledger reconciliation Experience on inventory control and POS operations, preferably in the retail industry Experience covered both financial and management accounting Experience in stock taking is strongly regarded Strong attention to detail Keen desire to learn and progress Ability to work as a team player as well as independently Proactive approach to problem solving and willing to offer new suggestions Deadline oriented and organised Flexible and adaptable work style Willing to take on duties on an ad-hoc basis Excellent analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (AX) is advantageous Strong numerical, organizational, and PC skills (including Microsoft Excel) Completed associate diploma or above in Accounting/Finance Knowledge and experience on inventory control and POS operations, preferably in the retail industry
