About The Role: In this role, you will support the Financial Manager in various areas including tax (main), accounting and treasury, in accordance with the company’s terms of business. You will also ensure that the financial records of the business meet the highest levels of accuracy and integrity. Key Accountabilities: Provide support for tax work (priority). Provide support for the Finance team with day-to-day accounting and finance operations. Assist with preparation of regular payments. Support month end closing and reporting. Prepare all Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly reports in a timely manner. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and report the risks/opportunities. Assist in preparation of the annual finance budget and monthly forecast. Manage allocated department budget while partnering with departments/stakeholders. Assist in the implementation of company best practice control processes and reporting automation. Assist with preparation of financial statements. Liaise with internal and external auditors. Other Adhoc reporting and analysis as required. Qualifications and Attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. General Accounting experience ideal, but not essential. Intermediate/Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint & Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. A positive 'can-do' attitude. Sound organisational and time management skills. Approachability in dealing with internal and external parties.
