We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help us empower small businesses and the self-employed worldwide. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a passionate Android team and have a massive impact during our next stage of growth. We are a mobile first business and with Android users being our second largest revenue stream -- the work you’ll be doing here will really matter. You will join our Core Experience team which focuses on providing a tailored and modern onboarding experience and guides users to finding the maximum value in our product. Above all else, you will be continuing to make the Invoice2go app experience for Android devices unique.
As a Senior Android Engineer at Invoice2go, you are responsible for being a part of and driving the development of product features through all phases of the development lifecycle. To date, everything we’ve ever built (and continue to build) in our Android app is native - Kotlin. You’ll work closely with researchers, designers and other software engineers to design and develop the future of our user experience. Above all you’ll love working in a creative, supportive team environment whilst having access to the latest tools and technologies.
Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:
Previous professional experience building components libraries:
Love building beautiful UI and awesome features with a high bar for quality of code and quality of user experience
Enjoy and understand why collaboration with product and design is so important to make sure the interface is built for the future

Understanding the concept of functional programming:
Our Android app is 100% Kotlin. You'll know how to develop in it and love it
Make thoughtful decisions and bring new and creative problem-solving approaches to the team
Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams
Strong agile mindset with the willingness to question the why and continuously improve
Sharpening and promoting delivery excellence to ensure customer value is continuously delivered
