Draftsperson

Overview:

Our client is looking for a Draftsperson(Civil Engineering, Structural, Construction, Residential) !

In this role, the Draftsperson will be working directly with management, subcontractors and clients.

The ideal applicant with a background in drafting and willing to learn and adapt skills for a variety of work!

This position is a full-time Ｏngoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Geelong , VIC.

Main tasks:

• Construction design (Civil Engineering, Structural, Construction, Residential).

• Assisting in a construction, operations and research;

• Working with external engineers, architects designers;
  Prepare detailed drawings and plans for residential and commercial construction;

• Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and design;

• Site Measures and levels;

• Client Meetings, Concept through to working drawings;

• Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out structural calculations using Australian Standards;

• Estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions;

• Inspect progress of works and upon completion.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

• Highly relevant Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

• AutoCAD software experience;

• Revit software experience

• Drafting experience in civil, residential or interior;

• Interpret engineering, architectural drawings computations;

• Be able to create high standard drawings for concepts and working drawings;

• Ability to work unsupervised and be self motivated;

• Buildertrend or similar CRM Software (extra experience is a plus);

• KDMax or similar 3D Software (extra experience is a plus).

Annual salary will be between $65,000 - $75,000 (plus superannuation) depending Ｏn level of experience.
