Responsibilities:
- Working with Allscripts clients to formulate and document business requirements pursuant to detailed project plan and in accordance with the contracted project scope;
- Identifying, investigating, and analyzing client business processes, procedures, and work practices to guide system implementation and upgrades;
- Identifying and evaluating troubleshoot issues and inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices;
- Delivering advice, guidance and recommendations on system configuration and implementation best practice;
- Using project management methodologies; principles, and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource,, and manage projects;
- Assisting the customer with the parameterization and configuration necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the contract scope;
- Lead system design, build process, deploying functional software solutions, such as creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system for the client;
- Design and present formal training documentation, and conduct formal training classes to transfer knowledge to Allscripts clients;
- Developing functional specifications for use by system developers;
- Using data and process modeling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software for clients;
- Liaise with the client, Project Managers and Sales and Solution Consulting to understand the client's conversation, go-live, and rollout strategies and to ensure the solution meets the client's business needs;
- Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process; and
- Work individually or as a member of the Allscripts sales and service team to identify, promote, and drive revenue opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Academic and professional qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Clinical/Business experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-11 years related work experience OR;
- Minimum 4-6 years internal Allscripts experience;
- Allscripts implementation experience preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- Willing and able to travel up to 100% of the time, often with international assignments.
