THE POSITION
This position is perfect for the self-motivated experienced bookkeeper or accountant who enjoys dealing with the day-to-day bookkeeping, overseeing other bookkeepers and working directly with clients. Offering variety, this position will see you completing all accounts/bookkeeping tasks from setup to EOFY working directly with client’s accountants. You will work together with the senior bookkeepers/accountants within the firm. This is a full-time permanent position.
Typically, your duties will entail:
Full function accounts payable
Full function accounts receivable
Payroll
Bank reconciliations
Month/quarter/year end
Dealing with all compliance items such as BAS, IAS, STP, Superannuation, Workcover, etc…
Working the team and external accountants to close off the financial year.

The ideal candidate must possess the following;
Previous working experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
Exposure to Xero preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Computer literate and able to pick up new software easily
Punctual with attention to detail
Strong multi-tasking capability
A committed team player with excellent interpersonal and team skills
