What will you do?
• Own the development and support of AirRobe's backend, ensuring our platform can scale to integrate with thousands of merchant partners
• Be the Subject Matter Expert for our Ruby on Rails backend using best practices of web app design
• Drive engineering best practices throughout the team
• Support the Engineering Manager in making and implementing key architectural decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our product and go-to-market teams
What will you need?
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Confident with Typescript
• Experience designing, deploying and supporting cloud-native AWS stack
• A genuine desire to impact a team and business that's rapidly scaling
• Well-versed in software engineering tools, techniques and processes: CI/CD, TDD, pair programming, code-reviews, design patterns, etc
