About the role: The successful candidate will bring tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or similar, accompanied by previous working experience in a similar role. The primary objective of this role is to provide technical engineering and design for a range of electronic and mechanical projects. Working closely with the operational team and clients to deliver innovative, high quality project outcomes. The position is located in Salisbury South, South Australia. Working with a small, dedicated team who are committed to the company's growth and each employee’s wellbeing. What's on offer: A permanent full-time position Attractive remuneration, commensurate with qualifications and experience Opportunity to work in a fast-growing and dynamic organisation Excellent work culture Positive work-life balance Free on-site parking Opportunity for future career advancement What you'll need: Mechanical Engineering degree or similar with at least 2 years of professional experience B.Eng Expert 3D CAD modelling skills (Fusion360 preferred but not essential) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent CAN DO attitude Professional and self-motivated Ability to work autonomously Show initiative and creativity Must have permanent residency or Australian Citizenship What you’ll bring: Design verification, validation and testing Strong mechanical aptitude with a creative approach to problem solving Experience in electronic/mechanical systems design for manufacture and assembly An ability to operate in a structured and process driven environment A strong attention to detail that is applied consistently in order to see jobs through to completion Hands on mechanical and prototype experience Excellent ability to time manage to meet project milestones. The ability to operate in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Successfully works with a wide range of people at varying levels of organizations. Communicates with others in ways that are clear, considerate and understandable. Implements effective plans and applies appropriate resources to produce desired results. Follow through on all commitments to achieve results. Professional project experience in an engineered product. Identifying areas of technical support and evaluating feasibility to support and diversify.
