Currently there is an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics) in Canberra ACT avaliable.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical or Avionics aircraft maintenance On various aircraft types.
Main Duties:
Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems.
Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment.
Maintaining thorough records of actions taken.
Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment.
Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
Qualification/s Required:
Experience On Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type);
Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) or (Avionics)
Strong team player;
Ability to follow supervisory direction;
Excellent communication skills;
Positive and proactive attitude essential;
Passion for safe work practices;
Valid work visa;
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
Current Driver's licence.
Highly skilled in carrying out aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
Employment Experience
At least 2 years particular experience On this aircraft type or similar such as turboprop aircraft, as an aircraft maintenance engineer.
Shift will to be determined but will be either early/late or night shifts.
Salary Range $66,176.24 to $69.140.24 per annum exclusive of superannuation.
