What will you do?
You will undertake a variety of surveying work as per client’s requests, manage day-to-day aspects of your projects including client interaction, fieldwork, calculations, safety management and the quality assurance of all work as well as other tasks including:
Preparing plans from field survey data
Computing survey data
Completing surveys in an efficient and professional manner
Accurate record keeping of job progress
Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations if necessary
Implement controls documented for all specified tasks
Maintaining professional development and training
Continuous improvement activities
What you need to succeed
As well as having a ‘no problems just solutions’ attitude, you will need:
Previous experience as a surveyor
Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum bachelor degree in Surveying or equivalent
White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
Drivers License
At least two years experience in construction/infrastructure
Knowledge of 12D would be an advantage
Experience in control networks
Strong mix of customer service and technical proficiency
