The role
The position of Surveyor - Gippsland provides surveying industry knowledge and effective project management skills to support the activities of our Gippsland Region Surveying team. They are seeking a talented Surveyor to provide technical support for the successful delivery of projects.
Reporting to the Team Leader Surveying and supported by a dedicated team, core responsibilities include:
Ensuring that surveying tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of our client and their clients
Maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of day to day project deliverables
Applying project management principles to deliver assigned projects to the required standard in a timely manner
Field based technical specialist, 80:20 ratio field work to office work
Surveillance surveys
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in a consulting environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have or be:
the ability to contribute to our team based company culture
a high level of field survey accuracy
2 years’ experience in surveying
Survey drafting experience will be well received
Project experience in a range of client sectors (e.g. land development, mining, civil construction)
Relevant professional Surveying qualifications
Ability to provide technical support to across a broad range of high profile projects
