Job description
We seek an experienced VMWare Engineer to join our on-site customer-dedicated team. This role will join a large account delivery team, servicing our biggest and most complex enterprise customer across projects and BAU activities. You will be skilled in managing a virtualised platform and bring excellent customer service and remote support skills.
Requirements:
VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) skilled in building, run and maintenance
Experience with VMware VCF, vROps, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SDDC, Horizon (VDI)
Knowledge and experience with computing and storage systems and basic networking (TCP, routing, switching)
Significant experience using Microsoft Server platforms
Skilled with cloud technologies such as Azure
Familiar with backup technologies and Disaster Recovery methodologies
Automation and scripting such as PowerShell experience (desirable)
Experience in HCI platforms (desirable)
Microsoft Certified and Azure Certification (desirable)
