Your new role
In this exciting new role, you will be:
Preparing definition documents, solution specifications, design documentation, acceptance test procedures and other associated documentation to align with project objectives, and participating in the product integration and verification phases
Supporting the planning and coordination of program hardware integration activities, and delivering hardware integration services for systems and/or sub-systems of products
Integration of the solution elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behaviour, interactions and performance to confirm that the requirements against which the solution has been designed are fulfilled
Product installation, configuration, validation and handover of equipment to systems integration teams locally or on customer sites
Defining and leading infrastructure testing activities in order to demonstrate the solution satisfies the user requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will need:
A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification
Solid experience with the Red Hat Linux Operating Systems, including Kernel configuration, driver packages, performance tuning and automation
Expertise configuring SELinux/fapolicyD, FirewallD, Application Whitelisting and AIDE
Experience with Automation and CICD Tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Travis, Octopus)
Experience of scripting languages (Python, Perl and Shell)
Familiarity with a wide range of computer and networking hardware (preferably HP and Cisco)
Solid understanding of hardware integration and testing processes
Practical experience of validation and integration of hardware components on large, complex, software-based systems
