About the role Due to unprecedented business growth, we are looking for a well-rounded Assistant Accountant. You will have a broad and varied range of responsibilities, including: •Conduct daily reporting and monthly reporting to management •Prepare, calculate, and issue a high volume of monthly invoices to customers •Follow-up payments and overseas accounts payable and accounts receivable •Manage company bank accounts and foreign currency credit cards monthly reconciliation via Reckon One •Undertake examination of clients' monthly performance in both Asian and European markets and provide analysis/reports to Senior Management •Analyse business performance trends and forecast business/financial performance •Manage ABN contractors' fortnightly payroll calculation •Ensure compliance with tax obligations and assist with the preparation of BAS, Super, and PAYG Calculation What you'll need to succeed Essential •This position is onsite. You are expected to travel to the office. •Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks within tight deadlines. •Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills are a must. Together with experience in working with spreadsheets and providing analysis on trends and movements. •Proficient in accounting software, such as Reckon/Xero/QuickBooks. •Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of data and reporting. •Ability to interpret and analyse financial data and prepare reports. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Team player with a positive work attitude. •Commenced CPA/CA studies. •Tertiary qualification in accounting.
