Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Proficient English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Required residence status: None

Main responsibilities will be to: Stripping, refurbishing and of Valves, actuators, and associated componentry Assembly and testing of valves and actuators in both a workshop and site environment Understand bolting and correct torquing of bolting Pressure test valves as per specification (Machinists) Competent in the operation of lathes, horizontal, vertical borers and milling machines Fault find and resolve problems within your area of competence Comply with Quality System Requirements and Procedures Opportunities to work offshore and in our overseas facilities The Successful Candidate will ideally have: Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining, First Class Machinist or Similar Automotive / Mechanical Field or demonstrated history in a similar technical role. Training available. Previous experience with valves is preferred but not essential. Proven mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver quality work. Experience in working within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001). High regard for working safely and environmental Responsibility. Ability to work in an adaptable team and use own initiative. Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions. Track record of being attentive to accuracy and detail in their work Basic computer skills and attention to detail in paperwork. Any applicant from Automotive or Other Mechanical Industries may be offered the opportunity to cross train to Cert 3 in Engineering
