We have long-standing partnerships with several Tier 1 builders and large-scale project teams, working on projects across the healthcare, office, government, and commercial sectors (such as hospitals and office buildings).
As our project volume continues to grow, we are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
Read and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Perform quantity take-offs (walls, ceilings, doors, hardware, etc.)
Prepare quotations (BOQ, itemized quotes, total price)
Request and compare quotes from suppliers (materials, systems, hardware, etc.)
Communicate with project managers and construction teams regarding construction methods and cost optimization
Participate in tender submissions and follow-up clarifications
Assist with variation pricing and cost control
Qualifications
Must have relevant industry experience in Australia
Experience with plastering, fit-outs, ceilings, and partitions is preferred
Ability to independently complete take-offs and prepare quotations
Familiarity with architectural and services drawings
Familiarity with common systems (CSR, Gyprock, Armstrong, etc. preferred)
Proficient in Excel (required)
Proficiency in software such as Bluebeam, Planswift, or CostX is preferred
Meticulous, highly responsible, and strong communication skills
