South Australia Steel Structure Company is hiring one full-time structural engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the structural design, calculations, and technical analysis of steel structures, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, and related engineering projects;
- Prepare structural design proposals, engineering calculation reports, technical drawings, and related design documents in accordance with project requirements;
- Use structural design and modeling software to analyze steel structural members, connection joints, frame systems, and support structures;
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements;
- Communicate and coordinate with architects, project managers, drafters, construction teams, fabrication teams, and external consultants;
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field;
- Relevant work experience in structural engineering design, steel structure projects, or construction engineering;
- Familiarity with steel structure design, structural analysis, engineering calculations, and relevant Australian building/engineering codes;
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings, architectural drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications;
