Job Description Our organization seeks a cyber-security specialist who is experienced and vigilant about proactively preventing breaches of all sizes, identifying when they occur, and taking steps to mitigate them. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping all internal systems secure by using your analytical and technical expertise to monitor our data at all points of contact, ferret out malware and ransomware incidents, and recommend solutions for vulnerabilities. The best candidates must be deeply familiar with cybersecurity standards and certifications, with a thorough understanding of how cybercriminals operate, and must be determined to never be compromised.
objectives of this Role • Cyber Security Solution design for EDR(End point detection response) tender with evaluating the product from each vendor • Guard all company data, particularly sensitive data, from both internal and external threats by designing broad defences against would-be intruders • Take the lead on identifying the cyber security requirements based on the policies and designing the end-to-end solution
• Collaborate with other members of the Networks, Infosec, Regulatory team to develop a cyber security architecture, new protocols, layers of protection, and other both proactive and defensive systems that stay one step ahead of cyber criminals • Maintain security guidelines, procedures, standards, and controls documentation • Maintain a working knowledge of current cybercrime tactics Daily and Monthly Responsibilities • based on the security by design concept, work closely with application design and development team to embed all necessary security controls at the design/dev stages. • Collect data on current security measures for risk analysis and write regular systems-status reports • Constantly reviewing the requirements and refining the solution for any potential risk/attack • Conduct vulnerability testing to identify weaknesses and collaborate with cybersecurity team to update defensive protocols as necessary • Grant credentials to authorized users, monitor access-related activities and check for unregistered information changes
Skills and Qualifications • Deep understanding of all CIS 18 controls • Degree in information systems, information technology or related field • Minimum 7-15 years experience in cybersecurity at a mid- to large-size business for banking, government, or telecommunications • Strong knowledge of IT, including hardware software and networks • A meticulous eye for detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Any industry cyber security certificate. CISSP, CISA, CRISC, ISAAP or CISM are preferable
