The Opportunity
We are looking for a Site Supervisor with extensive experience in the high end residential market who is customer focused, passionate about the quality of their work and enjoys working in a collaborative environment with an established team. You will be a qualified Carpenter with supervisory experience, thrive on the responsibility for executing your project with strong support from our current Site and Project Managers.
We build great projects for our strong client base and have a lot of fun doing it. To be successful here you don't just need the skills but also a can-do attitude to work in a team to get the projects completed to best building practices.
Key Duties
Supervising the construction throughout the complete build process
Provide regular communication to the Project Manager, Client and Director - verbally and written
Apply your experience to identify and resolve problems that arise on site in a professional and effective manner
Manage and coordinate all site staff including sub-contractors
Adhere to company processes/procedures as well as industry regulations and codes of practice
General carpentry duties while building to best practices
About You
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
Trade qualified Carpenter for a minimum 5 years and demonstrate the ability to manage a site
Experience in high end residential projects and expert carpentry skills with the ability to achieve the finest of architectural details
Skilled in driving, programming, and managing sub-contractors
Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications via on-site meetings and written correspondence
Reliable, trustworthy, passionate and take pride in your work
Able to read, understand and execute detailed architectural building plans
Can run smaller projects independently and operate within a large team on larger projects
Have a white card, PPE, and tools.
