We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team. Duties to be performed: · Prepare blueprints and installation drawings; Draw or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria. · Prepare project cost, estimate of material quantities and costs and work-time estimates. · Ensuring accurate completion of specific documentation, charts and tabulations; · Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after installation. · Evaluate the client’s engineering proposals, installation drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design regulations. · Visit construction sites to observe conditions and to recommend solutions to technical design problems, involving electrical systems equipment (that arise during construction).
The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, commitment to safe work practices, good attitude and will be confident in problem solving.
