Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Proficient English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 5-8 years

Required residence status: Permanent resident, Citizen

Accept remote work: Accept all the time

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain NIDA’s information technology systems and networks. The role will perform both technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Coordinate between end users and ICT Department to support and assist with ICT projects • Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards etc.) • Monitor system and network performance • Provide administrative assistance to ICT’s procurement procedures • Maintain licenses, upgrade schedules and operational expenditure • Provide L1 & L2 support Cisco VOIP telephony system • Collaborate with external vendors as required • Undertake other duties as required by the Systems Architect or their delegate. • Adhere to all WHS requirements of the organisation and relevant associated legislation. SELECTION CRITERIA Essential: • Overall understanding of IT systems, hardware and software. • Ability to maintain excellent standard of customer service. • Relevant IT educational background. • Experience in working with Microsoft and Macintosh client Operating Systems. • Sound organisation and administration skills • Attention to detail • Demonstrated willingness to embrace organisational change including use of modern technology and an ability to analyse and problem solve in the context of change and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Desirable: • Previous experience in a similar role. • Experience in a not for profit and/or government or educational environment. • Interest in the performing arts.
