Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the construction delivery of residential and commercial projects, including construction schedules, site preparation and day-to-day implementation;
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on-site logistics to ensure the smooth progress of projects;
- Identify project risks in a timely manner and maintain a risk register and corresponding solutions;
- Ensure works comply with the NCC (National Construction Code) and project technical requirements, and drive defect prevention and rectification processes;
- Assist with project inspections, certification procedures and handover preparations;
- Maintain professional communication with clients, certifying authorities, neighbours and relevant government departments, and promptly address and escalate project issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in architecture, construction management, project management or a related field;
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisive decisions on site;
- Strong organisational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and adhering to standards;
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and handle complex on-site relationships;
