The Opportunity Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant, reporting directly to the Finance Manager to start immediately at their venue located in Pittwater NSW. Main Responsibilities: - Data entry - Prepare budget forecasts - Reconcile accounts - Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements - Filing paperwork - General ledger and reporting - Supporting the Finance Manager Essential Requirements: - Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (or currently studying towards) - Excellent presentation - Excellent phone manner and communication skills - Exposure to accounting programs (Myob, Xero, JD Edwards, MS Great Plains). - ‘Can do’ cooperative approach to work - Great Excel Skills - CPA qualified or interest in undertaking Other Info Plenty of training provided to ensure you succeed in this role Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm
