About the role // We seek an experienced Finance & Accounting Officer to join our team in our Kent Town HQ to fulfil a wide variety of tasks on a Full Time basis. Tasks included but not limited to.. Managing company Xero Accounts Managing Ingoing & outgoings / Payees / Debtors Managing Bank Accounts & Currencies Employee Payroll/Super/Leave Financial Reporting/Analysis Inter-Company Journaling Monthly Tax/BAS Reporting Insurance Upkeep Product Cost Analysis/Improvement Monthly Royalty Reports Grant Applications/Reporting International Tax Management / Reporting (Mainly USA) Contract Management Candidate Skills // At least 2 years experience in either a public accounting firm or at least 3 years in a bookkeeping business or in an accounting role in a small or medium sized business A Degree qualified in Commerce or a related discipline is viewed favourably but is not essential Strong experience in using Xero Accounting Software Advanced in using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets Strong attention to detail, an analytical mind and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to work as part of team and individually An appetite and willingness to learn as our business continues to grow Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
