About the role In this role you will assist in ensuring that where works are to be undertaken on the V/Line network they are conducted safely and in accordance with design drawing and standards for approved works. Derive project scope and requirements to ultimately deliver project activities Contract and contractor management. Develop specifications and work instructions. Provide technical and engineering expertise for the investigation and review of identified engineering system issues. Participate in the development and maintenance of rail infrastructure maintenance and construction standards, technical maintenance plans, service schedules, inspection and test plans. Review design submissions and identified anomalies in accordance with design fundamentals and relative standards. About you The position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in a engineering discipline. Minimum of 3 years proven experience in the delivery of projects. Previous experience in Rail, Track, Civil or Structures is advantageous but not essential Hold a current driver’s licence.
