This role offers an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and results-driven Junior Engineer to join our team, supporting the engineering team with the innovative development of new designs. This position will be responsible for updating and maintaining technical and production drawings, designing engineering solutions, component testing and validation, compliance investigation and research, quality and warranty analysis and investigation. In this role, the successful applicant will assist our Research and Development team in the effective, on time delivery, of project and improvement works.
The key duties of this position will include the following:
Work closely with and support the Designers and Engineers on project work and the implementation of new products from prototype to production.
Assist in the development of accurate and innovate engineering solutions that are fit for purpose.
Work closely with the Design team to validate and ensure design for manufacture.
Support new model introductions.
Update and maintain technical and production drawings.
Design engineering solutions.
Compliance investigation and research.
Component testing and validation
Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and assist in the implementation of manufacturing improvements and efficiency gains including developing rectification plans and assisting with close out of corrective measures
Assist with the delivery of 2D and 3D design presentations for new designs and design improvements.
The successful candidate must have:
Tertiary Qualification in Engineering.
Solid experience in SOLIDWORKS/ACAD
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Can do attitude and willingness to learn
