The company: We are a privately owned and operated steel fabrication company based in Dandenong South. We work in close partnership with clients in the commercial and residential building sector. We are experiencing continuous growth and are looking to expand our team! The role: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the coordination of our structural steel residential construction projects. You will have a keen understanding of the construction industry and the requirements needed for residential projects. A Project Coordinator background is not necessary, however would be a bonus. All construction residential experience will be considered! Key responsibilities: Attend construction sites to assess if site is ready to receive steel Coordinate fabrication of jobs with workshop team Coordinate installation works with site subcontractors Coordinate the set-out of projects with relevant stakeholders Identify variations and reporting requirements General office administration and upkeep duties Qualifications & experience: Understanding of the residential construction industry (desirable) Experience in project coordination (desirable) Excellent organisation and time-management skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Familiarity surrounding building compliance and legislation Flexibility as the role covers a broad range of tasks Attention to detail and commitment to quality What we offer: Immediate start Full-time position with a well-established family-owned company Company vehicle, fuel card, eTag and phone Great working conditions Training Opportunities for progression within the business
