Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification
English requirements: Proficient English
Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 5-8 years
Required residence status: Permanent resident, Citizen
Accept remote work: Accept all the time
The role will include:
• Liaising with agronomist on the control of pests and diseases
• Identifying insects, parasites and weeds that may be harmful to crops and devising methods of control
• Soil, leaf, water sampling
• Collecting and collating data on yields, fertilisation, pesticide usage, etc
• Developing fertilizer that will maximise productivity results
• Working on multiple sites and growing regions with different climatic and soil conditions
To be successful in the role, you will be:
• Minimum of a Diploma level qualification in a relevant field plus at least one year of relevant work experience OR at least three years of relevant work experience
• Be passionate about farming and driven to be successful
• Hands on with a strong work ethic
• Ability to understand business reports
• Relevant experience is an advantage
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite will be highly advantageous
