We have a national reach and we're looking for a talented and experienced person with great attention to detail and amazing organisational skills to join our dynamic team. The Financial Accountant will primarily manage the operational transactions of the business, month end & statutory compliance and support the commercial and projects teams to achieve the company’s targets and objectives. This is a Financial and Commercial focused role with responsibilities across these disciplines that require in-depth understanding and experience with limited supervision. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Support the CFO in financial and reporting requirements Support the Operations and Project teams to understand project margins and performance Process project transactions and progress revenue claims Manage Banking, Payroll, Interco, Fixed Assets and Compliance activities On time delivery of month end tasks, BS reconciliations and journals Working with Accounts Payable and Procurement to troubleshoot and resolve supplier queries Maintain ERP data integrity to support the business for future growth opportunities Driving the implementation of a paperless Finance environment Collaborate with the wider business and management team ensuring standards and procedures are consistently applied and communicated This is a fantastic opportunity that will see you collaborating with others to drive commercial excellence. You will have: Relevant experience in a mining, manufacturing or construction accounting role Advanced level of computer and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in ERP systems processes and data entering, Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft Excel A professional, self-aware and customer focused approach A continuous improvement mindset and practical problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding attention to detail and time management skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
