An opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Accountant working for Australia’s leading provider of foundation solutions.

We are seeking a full-time Financial Accountant reporting to the General Manager, who is hands on, insightful and able to provide advice, guidance, and strategic direction to the business.
Responsibilities
In this business partnering role you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure: Each project is completed within budget; and Forecasted profitability is optimised.
This will involve your ability to manage multiple complex projects, all at different stages of completion.
Your responsibilities as a Financial Accountant will include: the preparation and reconciliation of monthly accounts for several entities; preparation of the quarterly Business Activity Statements; attending to the processing and payment of payroll tax; liaising with external accountants to enable the completion of annual Income Tax Returns and Financial Reports; and budgeting, cash management, management of the accounting function, and liaison with external stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with minimum of 3 years qualified experience as an Accountant and possess experience providing business partnering support within a medium construction / property firm. Candidates who have worked for large accounting firms servicing clients in the construction / property industry will also be considered.
The candidate is expected to have exceptional communication skills, strong commercial acumen and an ability to advise management on key decisions. This unique role will allow for the successful candidate to develop their career.
