With extensive validations of the entire POS applications, its interactions with the Upstream/Downstream SAP Applications and loyalty services. • 6 years of Hands-on Experience in Installing, Staging and Maintaining the different types of servers including Dell, CISCO, Fujitsu with experience in installing ESXI, UCS, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Windows 7, Linux etc. • 6 years of hands-on Experience in Installing, Staging and Maintaining the different types of hardware such as POS, SCO, Servers, Workstations. • 4 years of Experience in Installing, Staging and Maintaining the different types of hardware such as RF guns, Mobile devices, tablets, Scanners, Scales, AP devices etc and installation of Mobile OS such as Android, IOS etc. • 4 years of Experience in Installing, configuring, Co-ordinating with vendors and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP. Also arranging the scheduled upgrades, Investigating faults in the network and reporting network status to the stakeholders. • An expertise in defining and maintaining environment management strategy for multiple environments and having an experience of 6 years in Environment Setup & Maintenance, a clear cut and effective way of managing and providing guidance to teams. • 4 years of experience in order to develop custom applications and have excellent knowledge of Core Splunk Enterprise, Enterprise Security, and Behavioural Analytics. Other qualifications include problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask. • Strong knowledge in environment management activities like ghost server maintenance, POS Software Deployment, New Store Environment establishment, Environment monitoring & maintenance, performing RCA on environmental issues, cross vendor co-ordination, Test Environment calendar creation and maintenance. • Strong knowledge in Store SERVER/POS/WKS virtualization using application behaviour. • Strong knowledge in environment metrics Definition and Maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities: • Preparation of establishing store (Server/POS/SCO/WKS) environment of both software and hardware for the teams to execute scripts without affecting the live production servers in independent QA area such as functional, system, Performance and user acceptance assurance. • Defining environment based on requirement analysis, such as purpose of each infrastructure need/environment need, Defining environments requirement details such as hardware, software, interaction between various environments, management requirements etc. • Deep hands-on knowledge of Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security to include the Splunk query language, configuration management. • Experience deploying/managing Splunk indexer clusters and search head clusters • Supporting the full system engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, integration, test, and documentation. • Estimation of Hardware requirements, software tools usage and versions, Effective Environment reservation system, Data setup. • Virtualization of servers including physical store to virtual store conversion, workstations (WKS 006,007,008,100) using application behaviour testing. • Preparation of environment components such as stubs, simulators (Cash drawer/EFT/Scale), Virtualization components (Server/WKS/POS), Setting up of scripting software such as VBS. Macros, SQL queries to come out with test data.
Qualifications & Certifications: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Science, Computer Applications or Engineering disciplines.
