Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Estimator to join our high calibre team of national Estimators based out of Brisbane at our Port of Brisbane office. You will collaborate with pre-contract teams and deliver exceptional civil infrastructure bids across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. With access to industry leading systems and software tools, you will contribute to a diverse range of multi-discipline infrastructure pre-contract bids within capabilities such as the resources sector, road construction, bulk earthworks, complex structures, airport, mining, rail, port and marine infrastructure.
• Be the Lead Estimator and or key contributor on pre-contract bids, • Coach and mentor junior team members • Lead by example and following established best practices,
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:
• a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, plus a highly collaborative nature
• 10 years industry experience with 5 years working in estimating
• demonstrated experience using established first principle estimating software as well as planning and scheduling software.
