Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

We are currently recruiting for fantastic gardening roles. Candidates will carry out maintenance and improvement works in Council’s parks, reserves and council facilities in a safe, efficient and effective manner, and in accordance with established work practices, so as to ensure that the parks and reserves are kept in a well maintained condition. Responsibilities Deliver maintenance works including but not limited to: - Horticultural maintenance, improvement and planting - Herbicide application - Brush cutting and edging - Tree maintenance - Litter removal - Grass cutting/mowing - Traffic Management Requirements: • Medium Rigid Drivers Licence • Traffic Management • Applying Chemicals under Supervision (minimum) • First Aid (Level 2) Experience Demonstrated recent experience in horticulture or parks and gardens maintenance Experience working for local councils is desirable.
