The Role
This key role demands a highly motivated individual with 8 years of experience and a strong background as Full Stack Java Software Engineer.
Strong fundamentals in building high quality software solutions based on business requirements (iterating development from MVP through to delivery). You will have the opportunity to influence the software architecture and integration patterns in-line with industry best practice and the latest technology stack and manage the end-to-end life of your solutions using your CI/CD skills. Ultimately, you will bring a resilient character, a learning mindset, and relish opportunities to stretch yourself
Key priorities of this role include:
working with our business stakeholders, product owner, and the team to help priorities our backlog
participate in code reviews and implement solutions
articulate your work in our knowledge base tools
rapid learning and willingness to work with technologies and languages you may or may not be familiar with
understanding of security policies and restrictions that apply and creating solutions that comply with these rules
Your Skills & Experience
Angular 8 and/or React, HTML 5, CSS frameworks, NodeJS
Java, Spring, Hibernate
Understanding of microservices architecture and design
SQL experience, including performance tuning and design
Cloud - AWS
understanding of testing (including Unit testing) and agile techniques
evidence of the application of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards
Advantage to have
experience with AWS stack
experience with deploying container technologies (Docker)
