About the role
We are happy to consider a Graduate with Building or Engineering qualifications preferably with 2-3 years experience , or someone looking to make the leap into this role from a construction trade background.
Our Project Managers are responsible for managing client projects end to end, on time and on budget. You will will be assisting them on a day to day basis. This is a interesting & varied role requiring the use of a wide range of skills and knowledge. Typically you will be assisting on a number of projects simultaneously- the pace is fast, so excellent organization and communication are keys to success.
The role will be as below:
Complete project schedules.
Negotiate supplier and sub-contract quotes
Manage variations, changes to scope and defects
Build great relationships with clients, contractors and onsite staff.
Estimate fit-out materials and labor.
Building Permit procurement and follow up.
Measure up for materials on site.
Ad-Hoc duties for office and on-site staff.
Prepare monthly reports and programs for Project Managers.
Documentation control
Dropbox File Management for Projects.
About you:
Experience in commercial projects and technical ability.
Excellent communication and leadership ability
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft project
Excellent time management, prioritizing and attention to detail skills.
Great learning agility.
