As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a Solution Architect working closely with the Head of Solution on our various client engagements. The role shall provide opportunities to work in niche technologies.
About Roles and Responsibilities
• Assessing client’s systems architecture currently in place and working with technical team to recommend solutions to improve it. • Continually researching the current and emerging technologies and proposing changes, where needed. • Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented. • Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have. • Review’s business context for solutions to client’s business challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution. • Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing teams in the formalisation and adoption of IT standards and procedures. • Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership. • Execute and support the design from architectural requirements for a reusable asset to provide business value across multiple programmes and initiatives • Provide technical consulting and advice to application architects and project stakeholders to ensure alignment to technology strategy, architectures, and utilisation of standardised IT services and patterns • Develop both conceptual and technical architecture and engineering models to identify areas for IT service standardisation • Consulting and leading technical architecture and engineering discussions across senior business IT portfolio stakeholders • Review and approve, as required, high-level designs for solution engineering peers and service partners
Key Skills Required:
• Excellent analytical and design skills • Full development lifecycle experience • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and time management skills • Ability to work professionally with stakeholders across all levels of an organization • Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies • 5 years of experience with enterprise applications like CRM and Case Management Systems • Strong experience in DevOps, Automation etc • Knowledge of the education sector and Student Management System will be a big plus. • Strong understanding of various Integration patterns and experience on iPaaS. • Good Understanding of Data Architecture and Governance
