Key responsibilities
Managing the entire life cycle of projects from the tender phase, through to handover and post construction activities.
Problem solving and developing creative solutions in a timely manner is essential.
Design process management with focus on identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes and establishment of project teams, including design consultants.
Be accountable for safety, quality, budget and on-time delivery of the project.
Excellent client relations and managing relationships with sub-contractors and vendors.
Interpret and deliberate on all contractual matters.
Be a team player with high collaboration and communication skills.
Education and Experience
Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience working as a PM or in a similar capacity.
Demonstrated ability in delivering commercial projects within the $20m-$100m value range.
Excellent leader who can coach and mentor a team.
Strong communication skills including written, verbal and the ability to listen.
Confidence and good understanding of Australian and New South Wales Construction compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Experience in Microsoft Project or equivalent.
White Card and First Aid certificate
Demonstrate time management and work safe protocols.
Strong Contract Administration skills.
Desirable
Intermediate use of Cheops Financial Accounts & Reporting.
