Responsibilities will include;
Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritising and resolving issues efficiently • Troubleshoot, escalate, and manage tier 2-3 issues and security incidents that includes complex tickets/escalations • Participating in a rotating on-call roster to provide 24x7 coverage of critical incidents for our customers • Responding promptly to MS issues and requests • Providing technical support across the company (in person or remotely) • Testing new technology or systems • Providing ongoing technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting to users and infrastructure • Review, propose and implement solutions to remediate the root cause of major issues • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure • Analysing, monitoring, and optimising current system performance • Account management of key MS clients/stakeholders, including providing regular reporting to clients
Technical experience we are seeking;
Prior Level 1 to Level 2 IT support experience (preferably in a managed services environment) • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT industry • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD – including but not limited to Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams • Active Directory – Setting up new users, maintaining the current AD structure, adding distribution lists, permissions and setting up mailboxes and their permissions as well as group policies • Familiarity and experience working with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid server environments • Server Technologies: o Virtualisation (Hyper V, Citrix or vSphere) o Active Directory o DNS and DHCP Services o File and Storage services • Service Technologies: o Exchange Services (Local, Hybrid or Cloud) o Web Services (IIS and DNS) o SQL database services (desirable) • Network Services: o LAN Networks (Switching, Routing, VLANs) o WAN and SDWAN Networks (Firewall, Routing, VPN) • Cloud services: o O365, Azure, AWS, Google and/or Networking equipment (Router/Switch/AP/Firewall) • Understanding of ITIL principles and good documentation skills • Working knowledge of Apple products • Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Certified, MCSA, MTA, and VMWare
