About the role A need has developed in our business for specialised, tailored software programs to be created specifically to suit the requirements of the business. The successful candidate will need to be involved in every aspect from the initial fact finding stage through to implementation and ongoing maintenance. Duties include: • Interpreting business requirements and write technical specifications following the strategic business plan. • Designing, coding, testing and maintaining software applications based on technical specifications, complying with the best practice for software development. • Building and maintaining user and technical documentation. • Collaborating with business users and product managers to develop necessary software products and features. • Managing testing and automation of software and application deployments. • Collecting and analyzing operational metrics. • Developing continuous improvement and continuous delivery strategies across system design and software development. • The creation and development of the tools required to support software and its management and security. • Performing forensic analysis to identify anomalies or threats. • Encryption and decryption. • Identification and mitigation of risks that may affect the performance and security throughout the lifecycle of the product. • Staff and user training.
