About the Role
Join an established boutique CPA firm in Melbourne where you will be an integral member in a high-performing team of inclusive and driven professionals. Along with the team, you will be responsible for servicing a wide range of companies, individuals and family groups. In this role you will feel empowered to perform and benefit from daily coaching and mentorship from the company director.
Responsibilities
Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS’s for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts.
Liaison with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients, including the ATO and the ASIC
Preparation of correspondence with clients
Preparation of bookkeeping
Reporting to the company director, collaborating to achieve goals for our clients, for our team and for Solid Partners Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd
About You
You should be Degree qualified & possess a CPA qualification/near completion
It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Up to 2 years’ experience in an Accounting practice is preferable
Experience in working autonomously on any of the below is advantageous:
Financial statements, tax returns and BAS’s for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF’s
FBT returns
ATO and ASIC liaison
It is preferred that you are proficient with accounting software, such as Xero, MYOB, and etc.
Be proficient with MS office
You must be driven to succeed and committed to meeting targets both as a team and individually
It is required that you possess strong stakeholder engagement skills and take pride in providing our clients with an exemplary service
