Role Responsibilities: • Act as the routine contact point, receiving and handling request for support via the helpdesk and ticketing systems. • Manage AWS and on premise environments for customers and internal use. • Manage cloud based applications for customers such as O365, Azure, Trend Micro, Datto, Bitwarden etc. • Monitor and maintain networking and security systems to troubleshoot, identify and resolve urgent issues and enhance the design and deployment for continuous improvement. • Respond to a broad range of services request for support by providing information to fulfill request or enable resolution • Provide first line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocate unresolved issues as appropriate. • Deploy new applications, databases and networking in line with complex systems design and architecture specifications from the team. • Contribute to the design of networking and security best practice for new and current customer environments. • Assist with the deployment of new and updated software packages to application solutions • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation including network diagrams. • Identify and resolve issues with Applications by triaging logs and escalate to a senior team member, application specialist or vendor.
Key Skills: • Experience with AWS Core Services including VPC, EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, Application Load balancers, CloudWatch, CloudTrail • Experience in implementing and managing cloud and on-premise networking and security • Deploying new AWS Cloud workloads. • Experience with managing backups such as Veeam, Archiware P5 • Experience with managing DNS both internally and publicly. • Experience with terminating SSL certificate for a variety of resources, webservers, load balancers • Experience with identity management Azure Active Directory, Enterprise Application and SSO configuration • Experience managing and deploying Office 365 services, users, security, SharePoint, exchange, teams, directory sync • Experience setting up workstations both Mac and Windows • Experience with RMM platform • Experience managing, Linux, Mac, and Windows servers. • Experience managing licensing, AV, backup, M365, Application license • Experience with managing firewalls, Access points, VPN and ISP connection. • Experience onboarding and offboarding staff members both internally and external users • Experience with LAMP stack ( Linux, Apache, MYSQL and PHP ) • Articulate in explanation and accurate in configuration • A Team player focussed on positive contribution to improvement • A Pragmatic, Inclusive & Practical approach to Problem Solving and Communication • A passion for technology and the way it can enhance our lives • The ability to respond and plan an upgrade to support a customer’s delivered solution.
Education and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following: • level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification • 5 years + experience in the IT Industry Preferable certifications : • AWS Associate or better • Azure / Microsoft certifications
