Key Duties
Being responsible for the maintenance and security of all the ICT facilities Network maintenance and performance monitoring Managing of network switches, hubs, modems and cabling issues. Managing of TCP/IP network including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Print service, Mail Relay Providing teachers with appropriate support and advice Reviewing and improving all ICT systems and software prior to purchase and implementation Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex complex technical hardware and software problems
Essential Criteria
Experience with management of Windows 2008/2012 servers; Experience with DNS/DHCP/Active Directory development and maintenance; Experience with Linux/Open BSD systems. MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or the equivalent study; Experience in a high-pressure customer service environment; Eligible to become a member of the Australian Computer Society and adhere to its ethical standards; Have a commitment to uphold and contribute to the ethos of Catholic schools; and, Understand the employer’s requirements and act in accordance with Catholic Education and the College’s policies, guidelines and procedures; and, Ability to carry out some out-of-hours work.
Desirable Criteria
Experience with CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), DFI (Digital Forensics Investigator) or equivalent study; Experience with NetSupport Manager, Dell Kace, Dell Rapid Recovery; and, Management of Mikrotik Routers, HP Layer 2/3 switches, 3CX PABX system, Maru Wireless System etc. Qualification Required
A bachelor degree or higher qualification, or, four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator), or equivalent study. NT Working with Children Card; NT Driver’s Licence;
