Deploy, test and optimize network and system services, taking responsibility for configuration management and operational readiness of network systems, especially environments with gaming, server and third-party vendors. Troubleshoot and find solutions for network issues.
Description of Employment Duties/Key Responsibilities
• Research, analyse, evaluate and monitor network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance and security.
• Assess and recommend improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems to the Technical Operations Manager.
• Provide specialist skills in supporting network issues and emergencies during business hours and after business hours via phone/email and onsite requests.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and administer new and upgraded networks, software, servers (virtual and physical platforms), workstations, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
• Remote and onsite computer and network systems design, implementation and support for client business needs.
• Learn client applications in order to attend to client IT support requests communicating with customer to ensure satisfaction and resolution of issues.
• Document client’s networks and photograph important areas so details can be added to the client file.
• Keep accurate time and billing records and complete daily job sheets via Connectwise.
• Software testing and working with Software Developer.
• IT Cyber Security management of network perimeter security appliances.
• Document client systems and processes accurately to ensure optimal network performance.
